Meet Joe!
Earlier this month we were delighted to have a new team member, with Joe Martin is joining as a Trainee.
Joe brings a strong foundation in financial services and an impressive drive to build a career in financial planning. Currently studying towards his Level 4 Certificate in Paraplanning, Joe has already passed several modules and is on track to complete his diploma early next year. His previous roles working for insurance companies have honed his exceptional client communication skills and regulatory awareness, making him a natural fit for our client-focused approach.
Outside work, Joe’s meticulous nature extends to his personal life. Based in Lisvane, Cardiff he balances his professional aspirations with a keen interest in ongoing learning and self-development and a love of motorsports!
We’re thrilled to have Joe on board as he embarks on this exciting new chapter, contributing his fresh perspective and enthusiasm to the Blackstone team.
2024 Budget Briefing: Catch Up on What You Missed
Earlier this month, we hosted our 2024 Budget Briefing: Navigating Changes and Opportunities, breaking down Labour’s first budget in 14 years. The session was a deep dive into the key changes announced, what they mean for personal finances, and how to adapt financial strategies to meet new challenges or take advantage of opportunities.
We discussed topics like potential adjustments to Capital Gains Tax, changes to Inheritance Tax exemptions, and how pensions could be impacted. Most importantly, we focused on the practical steps individuals can take to stay ahead in this shifting landscape.
If you missed the session but would like to catch up, we’ve got you covered. Just let us know, and we’ll be happy to share a copy of the webinar recording and key takeaways.
As always, if you have any specific questions about how the Budget changes might affect your plans, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
