Celebrating 18 Years with Louise

We are delighted to celebrate a ‘workaversary’ for one of our key team members.

Louise Watson has been a steadfast presence at Blackstone Partners for 18 years this month. As the first point of contact for many of our clients, Louise’s dedication, hard work, and friendly personality have been indispensable to our team.

Her loyalty and commitment have helped shape the warm and supportive environment we pride ourselves on. A heartfelt thank you to Louise for her exceptional service, the invaluable support she continues to provide to our clients, and the positive influence she brings to the office.

Gareth’s Trip to Vancouver

This June, Gareth had the excitement of attending a global conference of financial planners in Vancouver. It was a fantastic opportunity for him to reconnect with old friends and forge new connections with financial planning professionals from the UK and around the world.

The event brought together industry experts to share insights and innovations in financial planning. It featured sessions on business processes, communication skills, and a major focus on the evolving role of AI and automation in financial services. These technologies can be harnessed to improve client outcomes and streamline processes. Gareth returned brimming with new ideas and inspiration to help continually enhance our practice.

Improving our services ensures that we can provide the best possible support to our clients, keeping us at the forefront of financial planning. We’re eager to see the positive impacts of these learnings on our work in the coming months.

Sadly, the end of Gareth’s trip was overshadowed by the news of the passing of his step-father to Alzheimer’s at age 92. In a strange twist of fate, it was at a similar conference last year that his natural father was diagnosed as terminally ill and passed soon after. These events serve as poignant reminders of the importance of cherishing our time with loved ones and being prepared for life’s uncertainties.
