Gareth’s Memorable Trip:

Gareth recently returned from the annual MDRT conference in Nashville, a global gathering for financial services professionals. This event offered Gareth the chance to engage with a broad spectrum of advisers, listen to leading speaker and participate in insightful sessions, exchange ideas with professionals from across the globe, including the UK.

Speaking about the conference, Gareth stated, “The opportunity to share experiences and learn from advisers around the world helps me broaden my perspective and enhance my understanding of challenges we face and opportunities to capture. Spending time with advisers from other countries, and mixing with some of the leading advisers in the UK allowed me to exchange ideas about best practice, learn from their experiences and strengthen my own expertise”.

Energised from the experience, Gareth is ready to bring back new ideas and insights to the team at Blackstone Partners.

While the professional development was beneficial, Gareth’s trip held more significance than usual. Shortly prior to his visit, Gareth received disturbing health news about his father in Ottawa, Canada. He re-organising his travel plans and managing to extend his stay in North America, allowing him to spend some quality time with his father.
